How much of the cost will my insurance cover?
Depending on your policy, your
insurance company will cover 80 to 100% of your cost for a cranial hair prosthesis. When entering your claim, do not refer to your cranial hair prosthesis as a wig. This will immediately get your claim denied because wigs are deemed cosmetic.
